Hard Boiled Egg Cafe in Cavan

My favourite place for breakfast in Cavan. You never leave disappointed. Service is very friendly and timely. Food is amazing and you won't leave with an empty stomach that's for sure. A must visit place to eat in Cavan no matter the occasion.

A fantastic menu full of choice. Amazing home made brown bread and banana bread Friendly efficient service and great value with very big portions

Only issue here is the prices and breakfast doesn't include tea or coffee

Great place, had boxty benedict and loved it

Food is nice but below average size. I came here with my friend one day and we ordered simple scrambled eggs and it was like 50 euro or more unbelievable, but overall it’s nice I recommend

If you are heading in the direction of Donegal this is the perfect stop for breakfast. Fast efficient and very friendly service. Really tasty breakfast and offered a selection of bread rather than just toast. I would highly recommend the hard boiled egg as my perfect stop over. And one last thing economic.

Our 1st day of our tour around this part of Ireland and popped here for an early dinner (been up since 4am so early dinner needed today!) Perfect as they are open 9am to 5pm daily! 😊 Hubby had the BLT sandwich which came with chips and he loved it, and I had the chicken strips which came with chips, salad & coleslaw which was absolutely gorgeous. Everything was perfectly cooked and really tasty, and the staff were really welcoming and friendly. We might even go back for brekkie tomorrow as their breakfast menu looks fab 😋 Can't fault the place at all, and thank you the staff for a fab 1st meal of our holiday here 🤗

Excellent food and attentive staff. The menu gives lots of options and with the monster Irish, you also had a choice of breads. Poached eggs were done to perfection.
