A fantastic place. Staff are brilliant can’t do enough for you. Brilliant selection of food options. Food is always served hot. Such a friendly and welcoming place. 10/10. Best place in Cavan to catch a bite.

I recently had a wonderful meal at the Hard Boiled Egg in Cavan, and I can’t stop thinking about it! From the moment I walked in, the staff made me feel so welcome – they’re genuinely friendly and attentive, which added such a warm touch to the whole experience. I ordered the fish and chips, and it was spot-on. The fish was fresh and flaky, with a golden, crispy batter that was just perfect. It’s not always easy to get fish and chips done right, but they nailed it. The whole place has a cozy vibe, making it a lovely spot for a relaxed meal. I’ll definitely be back!

Incredible place in Co. Cavan. We were on our way to Donegal and we got recommended this place to have our lunch! The porción was perfect for me. It has the biggest Irish breakfast I've ever seen! The best was the price which I think was €17 including coffee ☕ My friend ordered other dishes and we're very happy with the food. It seems to be busy from time to time but the wait is worth it!

I called inn at 920am. So friendly and welcoming. I ordered a garlic dream Ommelette. Oh my god. It was a dream... fantastic. I loved it but i couldn't finish it unfortunately. It was so delicious.And best part, my cappuccino was hot. Again fabulous.But cant wait to get it again

I have been coming to Cavan for work for years and always drove past here seeing how busy it was but never having the time to pop in. Decided to have a gander and I wasn’t disappointed!! The staff are wonderful, cheerful and very friendly! The food is absolutely scrumptious and delicious each and every time! Definitely worth dropping in!

Back in 2024, and got the veg eggs Benedict’s . Amazing!!!

Healthy portions at a good price. Don't know what happened, but it seems to have lost some of its magic. Some of the staff are new and young and don't seem to have developed warmth in their approach to customers, which I like. Don't know if they have a new chef, but I had a pulled pork dish and couldn't finnish it and not in a good way. And what's with the crisps with the toasted sandwich. A little salad tossed at the plate would be a big improvement.

This place was packed on our half way stop to Dublin port , we both had a breakfast and it was yummy and you could tell that thought had gone into the presentation, good service and fab atmosphere too.

This is a Great spot. Lovely decor with all the music memorabilia. Extensive menu. Staff lovely. Quick service great food
