Hard Boiled Egg Cafe in Cavan

Healthy portions at a good price. Don't know what happened, but it seems to have lost some of its magic. Some of the staff are new and young and don't seem to have developed warmth in their approach to customers, which I like. Don't know if they have a new chef, but I had a pulled pork dish and couldn't finnish it and not in a good way. And what's with the crisps with the toasted sandwich. A little salad tossed at the plate would be a big improvement.

Great family friendly restaurant! When eating out with a toddler, the little things like crayons, colouring books, bubbles and a lollipop make all the difference. The staff even went as far as washing our toddlers plate for us that we had brought with us. They couldn’t have been more kind and attentive. A large and varied menu with good portions. We will definitely be back! Thanks to all the staff :)

I entered and I was utterly pressed with many decisions on what to order. Boxty on the menu, how dare you? That is extraordinary, I settled my nerves and decided what I wanted and I was very impressed. I ordered the largest fry I'm Ireland. My friend Conor asked me did I use the mushrooms for bait, no I didn't I scrumptiously ate them all. Gorgeous. I am lost for words 🥰

Had all day breakfast yesterday at lunch time. Food was exceptional, cooked to perfection and served hot. Highly recommend and would visit again next time I'm in the area. Excellent selection of food for all tastes. Hidden gem.

Just do it! Food was just delicious! So much to choose from. Had to be rolled out. Can't wait to go back and try some more! Only place we could find in Cavan on a Sunday for early breakfast. We got there early and got a seat no prob, but when we were leaving there was a queue. It's a super popular spot. Great decor and vibes all around. Not overly priced and super generous with their portions.

We were passing through Cavan and came across the cafe.. it was early Saturday morning, the place was buzzing,obviously a locals favourite. Great atmosphere , friendly staff and a lovely breakfast.. will be back
