Hargadon Bros in Sligo

Amazing atmosphere with live music. Very kind staff. The pub has a very cool traditional wooden interior. We even got a separate dining room if that's what you want.The lamb stew was amazing. I just would have liked a bit more mashed patatoes in it. It was pretty busy, so if you are a bif group, I would recommend making a reservation beforehand. They immediately offered us a free bottle of cold tap water, which was very convenient. They have baby portions, which are a very nice thing to have. Especially if you have a baby so you don't have to share. I would definitely recommend this place when visiting Slego!

It was alright. I had the classic H - it was good, but I had better. The staff and interior was very nice tho.

The Guinness burger was incredible; we had it on the waiter's recommendation. Very friendly. And the decor was authentic.

I only had Guinness here but it was excellent and the hospitality was also top notch. Lovely pub in Sligo. Next time I’ll try the food.

Quiet and pleasant pub. Just a delay in bringing dessert.

We stayed in Sligo for three days, and this was our favorite pub. There's just something about it that made us feel right at home. Brooding and cozy at the same time, perhaps? :) The first time we were there we ordered a charcuterie board w/ cheese and garlic/cheese fries. Loved it and came back for the second time the next day, and I got to try their strawberry feta salad and their pecan coffee mouse. The next time we're Sligo, that's where we will go for dinner.

This is total throwback to the past with its quaint wooden snugs and furnishings. However, the menu is ultra modern offering numerous vegetarian and vegan options along with numerous mouth-watering choices for the meat eaters. The food is fantastic and of excellent quality. A word of warning though, the portions are large and you would need to be quite hungry to finish a starter and a main course. But you will definitely enjoy trying. The prices are very reasonable, considering the very high standard of the food and service. We look forward to our next meal in here on our return to Sligo. Míle buíochas to all the staff.

Came in for lunch. First impression was: it's dark, is it safe? After eyes adjusted we saw that it is a very old pub with with the feel of a prior century. Light coming through the skylights and old prints on the walls. The lamb stew was delicious with big tender chunks, mashed potatoes and parsnips. Try this place if you're in Sligo.
