We found the pub out back to be very empty around 4pm on a Saturday afternoon, having the place to ourselves for a short time, playing pool and having some drinks. The staff were friendly and courteous and good selection of drinks. We didn't eat here as we were not hungry.. Warning to vegans or other consciousness animal lovers. There are old relics of fishing memorabilia such as mounted animal parts, so you may find the decor distressing. There is also a fish tank with large live fish in it.

one of my best visited in Ireland 2022 ever!! the pub manager is super, I tasted the best oysters ever! Thank you so much.. hope to come back one day! STUNNING EXPERIENCE!

What a lovely place. Quirky. Lots to look at in ceilings, wakls etc. Stunning views from outdoor seating. Friendly staff. Good pint of Guinness (obviously)!😉. No longer serves food.

06/10/2024: Lovely little candy shop in Galway. The girl who helped me was super friendly and made my experience a 10/10. Everything was packed with care because she knew I had to travel a long distance with it. I bought two of the gummy packages and I tried one when I got home and they were absolutely delicious. Definitely recommend if you're making a stop in Galway.
14/08/2024: Wonderful sweets in a cute old fashioned shop with super friendly staff! Don't miss when visiting Galway! We loved the rhubarb and custard sweets and the vanilla fudge and nougat for our drive back to Dublin!

The Embassy Steakhouse

10/12/2024: This year we chose The Embassy for our Christmas work meal. An excellent choice! We went for the €49 euro Christmas Menu which was excellent value. The service was impeccable. The surroundings were cosy, comfortable and the restaurant had a lovely Christmas feel to it. The complimentary bread and dips are delicious. The food was perfect. The turkey and ham dinner was excellent and there were large dishes of roast vegetables too. We all literally rolled out of the place so full! Looking forward to going back with family. A wonderful night had by all.
