We enjoyed our stay of four days at the Absolute. It's clean, conveniently located near the major sights of Limerick's old city, and well-staffed with friendly, courteous, and helpful employees. My one down vote would be due to the noise level. Our room overlooked a well-trafficked road — the window of our room almost opened right to the road — and the noise of cars passing was more than a little disturbing. Otherwise, I'd highly recommend the Absolute as a place to stay if you're in Limerick.

Beautiful and well-kept hotel. Friendly and helpful staff. I loved the room overlooking the river. The terrace overlooking the river is lovely. Excellent, central location. Excellent breakfast prepared by the hotel's in-house restaurant, Harry's On The River, with top-notch staff.

A really good hotel , great food and location. Will definitely be going back. Edit, after a second visit, I was surprised to see the same torn and dirty nets in the rooms, desperately needing replacing. I did enjoy my visit, but a little attention to detail goes a long way.

We had a lovely stay here! Staff are very nice and the rooms are spacious and clean. We ate dinner and breakfast here. My mains were a bit dry but everything else was tasty meal wise. I'd recommend staying here when in Limerick.

The ONLY bad thing about this place is the parking. They have over a hundred rooms but only 20 or less spots. You have to pay (13euro/night) to park across the street in a tight garage. Very unfamiliar to an American because hotels validate parking if they don’t have their own, but it’s also uncomfortable leaving your rental car in a right garage across the street. Technically you can park in their hotel garage which is very tight so if you have to make U-turn in there and you’re not a very good driver then it might make you anxious. Anyway their garage is full by about 7pm. So if you plan on going anywhere and not having to cut your day early, then you’ll have to pay and walk across the street.
If you can get past the parking situation the staff here are extremely friendly. Nicole at the front desk even gave us good recommendations to visit. The rooms are neat and attended daily. They have espresso machines in them. The view is wonderful from the room overlooking the river, the bathroom is very nice and spacious. Overall would I recommend to stay here? Yes I would.

The hotel room was very spacious and the bed was comfortable. It was a short was to coffee in the morning and St. John’s castle. I was disappointed that parking is first come first serve and we did not get a spot. We had to park across the street in a sketchy car park which was more money than expected.

This is my favourite hotel in Limerick. I was dealing with Donnacha and he was fantastic to deal with, super friendly and went above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed our stay. Hotel is situated in a perfect location and is walking distance to anywhere you need to go in Limerick and there was no need for taxis. We booked a Triple rooms and it was super spacious and spotless, bathroom was huge as well and we didn't feel on top of each other like you do in some other hotels. Highly Recommend, 5*. We will be back.

Nice friendly helpful staff. Decent food. Prawn PilPil tasty and fresh Cod was cooked perfectly. Beef cheek melt in mouth, but sauce could be improved!
Breakfast buffet was spot on.
