We had dinner here tonight and would absolutely come back if we had more time in Galway. The food was amazing, the staff was super kind and accommodating. (We got in to the city very late and found this place right before they closed. They didn’t complain or try to make us go faster.) A fantastic kid friendly dinner choice for families!

I’m a foodie. A small entrance to an upstairs restaurant. We all had Tagines (2 lamb and 1 chicken - 1 normal and 2 sweet) with couscous. The best tagine I’ve had in a long time including all those I had on a Moroccan 🇲🇦 holiday last year. They have 2 Moroccan chefs which explains it! Recommended? Yes, definitely for the tagine connoisseur.

such a delicious experience! the sweet chicken tagine was amazing, the couscous super fluffy and the chips some of the best I've ever had. would definitely recommend! my friend has a good selection of vegan options with the different starters, mains and sides

Hit and miss. The chicken kebab was good as were the pittas but the falafel isn't right. Texturally it's far to soft, very strange colour, a yellowy / orange. Not sure what the deal is with them. I've eaten lots of falafel in lots of countries and these are unique and not in a good way. I would go back for the kebab which was plentiful and very tasty

Three of us had tagines which were excellent and quite authentic. Yes I’ve eaten in Morocco. The pita bread was lite, fluffy and fresh. Falafel was a little soft and lemony and not great. Grab pints downstairs to enjoy with your meal. Worth a visit.

30/11/2025: We were there last night for my mum's birthday – a gang of us. I can honestly say it was the best restaurant I have ever eaten in. Every dish, from the bread to the desserts, demonstrated a high level of attention to ingredients and flavour. Great value for money also and an unbelievable location. I can 100% recommend the restauarant and you will not be disappointed at all.
30/11/2025: Blackrock Cottage is a delightful coffee stop with panoramic bay views. The relaxed, rustic vibe is perfect for a leisurely morning out of the bustle. they offer a full indoor restaurant and or the back has acai bowls and coffee

30/11/2025: Food was savage. The service was great. It was a bit loud. Think people were trying to talk over the music. But will definitely be back👌👌 the food was worth it.
16/11/2025: Delicious burgers, crispy fries and fun drinks. Really enjoyed the atmosphere of the place. Recommend it. Will definitely go back.
