High Cafe in Galway

Fresh pita bread. Really enjoyed the sweet lamb tagine.. An entree with dates and raisins that exceeded our expectations. The lime chicken caesar salad was also good. What a surprise find: upstairs away from some of the crowds and had an exceptional meal in the middle of a long bus trip.

Lovely restaurant. Excellent service. Very friendly staff. Great place for dinner dates.

¡Una joya! La comida era increíble. Gran italiano, pero también hay marroquí si eso es lo que quieres! El servicio fue genial. Empacado cuando llegamos allí (gran señal). Fuimos a tomar una copa a The Bunch of Grapes y la anfitriona bajó a decirnos cuándo estaba lista nuestra mesa. Es un BYOB, así que toma una botella de vino para acompañar tus comidas. ¡Disfruta!

I went today and everything was 10/10, one of the best of Galway.

First time there and loved it. 2 people - We had falafel platter to share (amazing hummus) , chicken tangin and lamb skewer. Lamb was very good and served with absolutely fantastic home made pita bread with garlic butter. Until today I thought I didn't like the peppercorn sauce, I changed my mind :) fantastic sauce. They don't sell alcohol but have some sort of a deal with the pub downstairs so will let you bring it with you, which is pretty cool. We paid a total of 51euros and it truly is a great value as portions are very decent Decor is fine, music should be more toned as I belive some soft metal was playing in the background which didn't fit well with the place. There's few tables where chairs are too high comparing to the table so sitting is not very comfortable. Overall 10/10, I will definatelly come back to try other dishes.
