Hit and miss. The chicken kebab was good as were the pittas but the falafel isn't right. Texturally it's far to soft, very strange colour, a yellowy / orange. Not sure what the deal is with them. I've eaten lots of falafel in lots of countries and these are unique and not in a good way. I would go back for the kebab which was plentiful and very tasty

Three of us had tagines which were excellent and quite authentic. Yes I’ve eaten in Morocco. The pita bread was lite, fluffy and fresh. Falafel was a little soft and lemony and not great. Grab pints downstairs to enjoy with your meal. Worth a visit.

The high cafe is still Galways finest food restaurant in Galway...Bring your own wine or beer and save getting ripped off. Moroccan chefs so food is the real deal. Perfect seasoning and the homemade pizza dough is sensational.Get the prawn garlic bread and falafel to start and a mixed grill or fish tagine for the mains and you can't go wrong.. Enjoy.Great staff also.

Me encantó el ambiente en este acogedor restaurante social. Polar opuesto a deprimente. U 2 en el fondo para el sábado por la noche perfecto. . Comida llena de sabor. . Puede traer una bebida del bar de abajo que se suma al ritual. Personal amable

17/08/2025: Great restaurant that reconnected us with Irish cuisine. Very efficient service and inventive cuisine. We highly recommend it.
06/08/2025: Hidden gem! The food is local and outstanding! The cheese plate starter has a great assortment of local cheeses paired really well with jelly and honey. The steak and lamb entrees were top notch! The cheesy bread, spuds and cabbage were delicious accompaniments. The chocolate tort at the end with a heavy cream and cherries was so good. Only issue was the table that wobbled. Highly recommend this restaurant!
