Horseshoe Bar & Restaurant in Listowel

Only gave 3 stars for atmosphere cos I was there for lunch, I got a seat. Wouldn't be for big groups, about 80 people came in (during my 2 and a half hour lunch) it was mainly people for food, I only had soup amd chips but I'm sure it could be a 5 star. I'd say it's good craic at the weekends at night time too

Lovely local pub and restaurant. The service was good and very warm and friendly. The food was about average, nothing special. I would, however, go for a beer and whisky in the evenings.

Enjoyed an exceptional meal here during race week. The fillet steak was cooked perfectly and came with sides. The selection of wine was high quality. Service was quick and very attentive. The host was able to seat us very quickly even though the restaurant was busy. I highly recommend a visit to this restaurant. I look forward to returning next year.

Saw this on trip adviser and was looking for a meal as we arrived in Listowel for afew days. This place is fantastic the service is great very warm and inviting. The waitress went through the menu and specials list. We both choose to have roast beef on mashed potatoes with vegetables - it was honestly the best beef I have ever had. The potatoes and vegetables were also cooked to perfection. I never usually have a desert but just had to when it said homemade sherry trifle - so pleased I did ! My partner also had the cheesecake which he said was so good. Highly recommend this little bar brilliant ,

Lovely food. Staff and service excellent

Accommodation is modern and spotless, comfy bed, had the best sleep. Food is delicious. Everyone was so friendly, and I could not have been happier as a solo traveller..parking is too rear of building
