Hotel Kilmore in Cavan

Stayed 3 nights at end of February. Spotless hotel . Really well maintained rooms . Great breakfast with many options for each morning . Staff are really welcoming . Lovely woman working on breakfast service. Can’t remember her name, she had black bob and mentioned she was from clones. She was wonderful and would go above and beyond .

Love beautiful Hotel and event centre in the heart of Cavan with spacious free parking. Loads of meeting and event facilities with helpful staff.

An excellent spot when driving to Enniskillen from Dublin. Stopped at the Kilmore for a coffee or breakfast.

Everything was so amazing, where to start?! We got married earlier this year at the Hotel Kilmore and the whole day and the entire planning experience was faultless. From booking to ideas, tasting, the day itself and everything in between we were so well looked after. No question was too silly, no ask was too much and we never felt for a second like we were just a number. The support right through planning was very personal and we always felt so welcomed. The team at the Hotel Kilmore made us and our guests feel right at home. We arrived the night before and as soon as I heard 'We'll take care of it', any stress or worry disappeared right away. I can't explain how grateful we were to know we were in good hands and how relieving it was to be taken care of by a team we could trust. The day itself was flawless, everything organised down to the littlest detail. The staff? So warm and welcoming. The banqueting team? Like a well-oiled machine - an unbelievably impressive thing to see. The food? Even fussy guests asked for seconds it was so good! The treatment? Genuinely 5 star. Our guests are still talking about just how fantastic everything was! We made the best decision booking our wedding at the Hotel Kilmore. They made our day so wonderful and we are so grateful for the genuine care and attention we received. This experience really just felt so personal and that's down to the lovely staff. A special mention in particular to Cora and Grace from the wedding team who answered all our questions with so much patience. To Paul, the hotel manager who personally oversaw the day and ensured everything was as we had hoped. To Leanne and Victoria who ran the most impressive operation we have ever seen and who were so professional with such a lovely helpful, kind and reassuring demeanor. It really is the people that really make the Kilmore shine. Thank you to Hotel Kilmore for giving us the most beautiful day - we wish we could do it all again! Sarah & Paul x

Stayed as a couple for leisure. Nice breakfast. Good selection of hot food, and when staying more than one night there is variation in the cooked breakfast menu, which is welcome. Service kind and friendly throughout. I requested a quiet room and received one. Never disturbed during the stay. Only small niggle is the radiator. There is no thermostatic radiator valve (TRV), which makes it difficult to tell if it is on or off, and also a bit awkward to turn. A clearer or easier control would help, particularly for anyone with dexterity issues. Room clean and tidy. Bathroom and fittings also clean and dry. White fluffy towels provided. Overall, would stay again.

I stayed 2 nights for business. Hotel rooms were clean and comfy. Staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The breakfast was OK, but nothing special. Although the coffee machine made really nice coffee. Happy with my experience.

Beautiful hotel. THE FOOD IS ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! Our room the first night unfortunately had a bad smell. (Plumbing problem). The hotel staff were incredibly helpful and moved us to a second room without hesitation. We will most definitely be back for future family functions. 100% recommend.

The meal was fresh and delicious!
