Hotel Kilmore in Cavan

Enjoyed a great 3 course lunch, great quality and tasty food with service to compliment

Hotel Kilmore a beautiful Hotel with wonderful Management and staff. Myself and my band performed at a wedding here last night and as usual Hotel Kilmore has not lost its high standards of hospitality and attention to detail. it’s always a joy to play here.

Great stay, great staff. Comfy clean rooms.

The rooms are lovely and clean with VERY nice bathrooms/showers, the staff are really helpful and nice. My only issue is that their breakfast is quite poor. I had the Egg royale with salmon. Nothing on it was fresh, avocado paste from a jar/tube, salmon was rubbery and the whole thing was drowned in Hollaindaise sauce so I didn't even finish it. There's also not a huge selection of cereals and the juice (apple, orange etc) are all very poor quality. Some of the fruit in their fruit bowl were certainly a little past ripe. We attended a wedding reception the night before and the starters, soups and mains were fantastic. Their gym doesn't have much equipment which was very disappointing. There's 3 or 4 cardio machines which take up most of the room (which is very small) and one large unconventional cable machine in the centre of the room that covers a range of exercises such as rowing, chest press, and overhead press. They could certainly do with some dumbells, benches and a squat rack if they want it to be better.

Stayed in the beautiful Kilmore hotel in Cavan ,a few nights ago ,had being at the hospital ,was so glad to get to the gorgeous bedroom was lovely and warm ,the shower room was so amazing and big food was lovely the staff ,so friendly and helpful , will be back for sure ,regards to all Mary mc Carron

I stayed on June 8th attending my friends wedding .An amazing day .The food was best I ever had at any wedding .The choice the quality of the food was outstanding. The service from all the staff was incredible. They were so attentive to everyone. The rooms were so comfortable and we had a delicious breakfast the following morning 🌄 Overall a fantastic experience from start to finish..Thankyou all for the amazing hospitality I will be recommending the Hotel very highly 😀
