Hugo’s Bakery in Lahinch

In a small surfer town on Wild Atlantic Road you find a small local bakery where pastel de natas better than in Lisbon, Croissants better than in Paris, cinnamon rolls better than in Sweden…. What else to say, save this place on your map and make sure to make a pit stop. They also had specialty coffee, amazing looking breads, and sandwiches.

Call in for a coffee and pastry and well worth a stop.

Finally made it to Hugo’s and I am not disappointed. Absolutely delicious pastries and exceptionally reasonably priced. Don’t get disheartened by the queue outside, it is moving quickly as the team is highly efficient (and very friendly as well!)

Small, nice bakery with handmade pastries and good coffee. One day we had a chocolate croissant and a cinnamon roll and a ciabatta for hiking, and the other day we had coffee/cappuccino and pastel de nata. Everything was great. See for yourself in the pictures
