Well, as a portuguese I must confirm that the "Pastel de Nata" (Portuguese custard), is amazing. Great coffee and friendly staff. Don't get fooled by the closed door. Push the door because from outside it can seem to be closed. An "OPEN" sign would help.

I can think of few moments more satisfying in my life than the thirty seconds I just took to stuff my face with a butter croissant from Hugo’s. This place is the real deal! Lahinch is very very lucky to have a bakery of this standard on their doorstep !

The pastries here were probably the best we have had in Ireland!! The croissant was super buttery, and the cinnamon roll and chocolate pastry were super delicious. Very kind staff as well.

28/03/2025: We were there on a blustery, drizzly afternoon in want of samies and salad - Joe’s hit the mark and then some. We had the BLT with chips, the salad (with a lime chili sauce from another item on the side) and the chicken burger - everything was grand! Place had a great vibe with all the locals and surfers round. There were a few open tables when we got there and they were full up when we left. The servers were lovely!
18/03/2025: Best food I've eaten in Lahinch. Easily recommend this place for Breakfast Brunch or Lunch. Staff couldn't do enough for us. Food was delicious and portions are massive. Will definitely be back.
