Hungry Bear in Gorey

Ordered take away wrap & coffee, the wrap was super fresh, full with amazing chicken & stuffing. Coffee always good and brought out to me while I waited in glorious sunshine.

*Please disregard the disability statement previously left, I appreciate the response and apologise* Had coffee last week and it was sadly burnt. Friendly environment but the music playing can get quite loud. Aesthetically pleasing environment and heard a lot of good reviews over the food offered.

While sightseeing in Gorey, I stopped for lunch at Hungry Bear, and it was wonderful. I ordered a homemade burger with Irish beef, their own artisan bread, crispy bacon, and pickles… delicious. The menu was extensive and varied; you can tell they put love and dedication into every dish, just like they do into their business. 2 Coca-Cola Zeros, 1 Korean fried chicken, 1 burger, and 1 coffee = €40! Congratulations!

They have one of the best ranges of vegan options I have seen in a cafe anywhere. Their vegan grilled cheese sandwich is one of the best sandwiches I have ever had. The staff are friendly and the service is pretty quick, even though it is always busy.

The food is good but I have found the staff quite rude on several occasions.

Good food and generally good service but one guy was in a bad mood. Shouted at our two year old for playing with the baubles on the Christmas tree and left her very upset. Unnecessary.
