Ichibanya Sushi and Noodles Bar in Cork

ichibanya roll is a must!! i’ve never had anything like it

got this food on deliveroo yesterday around 7 or 8pm . the food was good but i got a tobiko nigiri and the roe tasted very weird nothing like ive had before and im a tobiko lover so this is unusual. thought nothing of it until i got home at around 10pm and started noticing a headache. thought nothing of it until it felt like my eyes were popping out of my skull and was getting terrible nausea. tried to rest it off but it wouldn't go away and i started throwing up from 1 am till 3 am. as an avid sushi lover that never gets sick somethings not quite right....

A nice mix of Japanese food, both cooked and sushi. I get the sushi every time and very happy with it. The people there are nice too 🙂 Off street parking available.

Oh my God, what a lovely experience! The food was absolutely delicious, the portions were generous, and the price was amazing. I left feeling so happy and satisfied. Everyone was incredibly kind, friendly, which made the whole experience even better. And to make it even sweeter, I was given a lollipop at the end 🥰 I’ll definitely be coming back. Highly recommend!

My first time trying Japanese food, and it was an amazing experience! We ordered the Chicken Karaage and Spicy Chicken Karaage, and both dishes were absolutely delicious. The chicken was perfectly crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and packed with flavor. The spicy version had just the right amount of heat and was incredibly satisfying. The food quality, taste, presentation, and overall atmosphere were excellent. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and provided great service throughout our visit. Everything was fresh, well-prepared, and exceeded my expectations. As someone trying Japanese cuisine for the first time, I was genuinely impressed and would definitely come back to explore more items on the menu. Highly recommended to anyone looking for authentic and flavorful Japanese food!

I can't fault this place, beat tempura I have ever had and probably the best bento box overall. Tempura was as light as a feather. The bento box was full of flavor and perfectly balanced.

Beautiful sushi, one of the nicest in cork we were in CUH so we had sushi a few times and we enjoyed it

Such an amazing restaurant. Their food is immaculate and their staff are so kind, it makes going there feel special. I definitely would recommend this place out of any other places there are.

Absolutely amazing from the food to the service. I forgot to take pictures of the rest of the food because we were so excited to eat it 🤣 very reasonably priced also for the amount of food we ordered and top class 🙏 highly recommended
