With the steady hands of sculptor (dough be his clay, the earth with which he moulds some meaning), Mario grasps the groundless strands of flailing existential despair and braids them, twirls them, spins them into something tangible, a meal to rest the beating heart, to give it abundance(!), a language of sensation, something to point to! Something to speak to and say: "in this, and with this I want to live! Amor Cibo! Let that be my love from now on! This shall be my constitution!
