The reservation was easy to make and the confirmation was clear. The entrance was super cute, the location chic and even the air unit is disguised. The drinks and food did not disappoint! Best meal while in Ireland!

A cozy speakeasy hidden away beneath an unassuming Italian restaurant serving bespoke cocktails, small plates, pastas and more. It’s a pretty small place and it feels very hidden so making a reservation is probably a good idea. How it works: walk downstairs (look for the neon sign that says “sshhh!”) and GENTLY press the pig head on your left at the bottom to open the secret door. Our server was a gem and helped us navigate the extensive craft cocktail menu-I LOVED THE “breakfast of champions “ and my wife enjoyed the noonin which was a bit of a riff on a margarita. We started with the creamy burratta with grilled pears and bread-heavenly and so fresh. For mains I got the pasta with beef and onions(yum!), but the standout was the braised short ribs with creamy mashed potatoes-amazing! -and at €30 a fantastic value. In fact everything was very reasonably priced and cocktails were only €15 each. Out entire bill was just €120-at least 50% less than a comparable meal at a quality restaurant in the US. Highly recommended (shhh!)

From the moment we found this amazing hidden gem — from the “Shhhhh!” sign to the secret room behind the bookcase where you have to hit the little piggy to enter — we were hooked. We didn’t try the food, but the drinks were absolutely amazing, and the staff was incredible. The music was perfect too; the live jazz created such an amazing atmosphere for the occasion. Even though the place was jam-packed, it somehow felt like we had the whole place to ourselves. Even the bathrooms were awesome. Highly recommend the Charlie Chaplin cocktail — it was our favorite!

Not sure how I knew about this fun place, but it was on our list to “to do” in Dublin. Omg! It was fantastic ! My friend and I shared the little pork sandwiches—don’t know the Italian name off the top of my head, but they were fantastic! Great great atomosphere! I would definitely go back and highly recommend it! Also probably get a reservation just to be safe. There is another speakeasy near it called the Little Pig that the waiter in the Blind Pig recommended which was also neat and fun!

Milano

26/05/2026: We had a great experience at Milano - Temple Bar! Delicious food, quick and friendly service (Corina was great!), and not as expensive as some other nearby restaurants. Highly recommend!
25/05/2026: The margarita pizza was very good. The dough balls were a little disappointment - they were delivered plain and dry. We were expecting a garlic-butter sauce or something to add flavor. For the dipping sauces - the pesto was great and the marinara sauce was decent. The cocktails were decent, but on the sweeter side. It's a comfortable, casual, place - a good choice for a couple of a family. They serve alcohol, but it is much more geared toward casual dining than having a drink. The service was pleasant but a bit slow.
