Il Vulcano in Westport

I was there with a group of 10 people, and because the menu is so diverse, there was something for everyone to enjoy. It was such a nice surprise to see two types of risotto on the menu, but the prawn linguine with pistachio pesto sounded good too, so I decided to order that. The experienced staff is very friendly and professional. The atmosphere was great and I'll definitely go back to try the risotto.

We just had dinner for my mum's 70th this evening. The food was absolutely delicious and the guys were all so friendly and attentive. They even all sung happy birthday when they brought us out a cake. I would 💯 recommend to anybody.

Great food and wonderful service

We had a Hawaii pizza! It was pricey but at least it was delicious. The place was recommended by a local police officer named Tony!

Il Vulcano has great Italian food, but even better is their thin crust Napolitano pizza. 😋 Just like Naples Italy. 👍

Very friendly staff excellent service portions very generous

Unfortunately we had a mixed experience at Il Vulcano. The place was packed, tables crammed in and lots of big groups. We were able to get a walk in table but it did feel squeezed in and it was hard at times to get staff attention. I had the risotto which was completely overwhelmed by black pepper- this was all you could taste which was so disappointing. Other food was decent, quite expensive and unfortunately our least favourite on the trip.

Wonderful food, great value and would definitely recommend and return here.

We went here as a family of 5 staying in Westport for a couple of nights. They did kids sized portions of any of the dishes on the menu and have a smaller size of pizza. The food was all just amazing, we had three courses and enjoyed every one! Staff were all so friendly and service great. It was so nice we booked to come the second night of our stay too!

Monday night in Westport and we didn’t expect an almost full restaurant! Managed to get squeezed in and had a fantastic meal and wine. Great service by very attentive staff. I had monkfish and king prawn pasta and it was all cooked to perfection! Highly recommended 👍
