Irish ferries in Rosslare

I'd read some fairly negative reviews before I booked with Irish Ferries, but my experience was very positive. I crossed overnight on The Isle of Innisfree from Pembroke to Rosslare and vice versa. Boarding and docking was fast and simple. The crew were all very friendly and helpful. The cabin was clean and the ship was spotless. No complaints from me.

Opted to take the Irish ferry from Rosslaire, instead of Dublin, since we were coming from Waterford and needed to get to Wales and Devon. Rosslaire is just what it says it is, a large port servicing ferries between Ireland and England. Boat journey lasted about 4 hours. Note: We had stayed at a B&B the night before above the harbor at a place called Tusker house or Tusker by the Sea. Be Aware that we landed in Pembroke Dock on a Sunday in January and there was little to no life at Dock area nor the town.

Everything worked as it should.

Morning sailing, duty free was fantastic 😁😁😁 breakfast options were brilliant. Highly recommend.

I like traveling, and when I am already in the port, there is excitement that the adventure begins, staying on the ferry and waiting for the destination port, e.g. Cherburg, and continuing the journey.

People very friendly staff friendly

Refreshed beam, friendly service, calm atmosphere, freshly renovated cabins. Due to the current renovation of the store, shopping is not possible, but the new opening of the store is not necessary.
