Ivy Cottage in

Hands down, the best fish and chips in Ireland! Tried Galway and all around Dublin. Had so much fish and chip I think I grew gills! Nothing…NOTHING compared to the fish and chips at the Ivy Cottage. Looking forward to our next trip to Ireland.

Excellent restaurant with a delicious menu. Service was fantastic and very quick. Service staff were very friendly and pleasant.Definitely recommend eating here if you are in Doolin.

All around fantastic experience. The location and atmosphere at the start of Fishcerstreet encapsulates the picturesque village of Doolin. Delightful eating areas inside and out, quintessential of what you would wish for as a dining experience. The host and service was superb, adding to the charming atmosphere. Our three course meal was exceptional, consisting of the chowder and soup of the day, fish and chips and goats cheese salad. The desserts of chocolate brownie and apple + rhubarb crumble were phenomenal. We frequently make the trip to Doolin for the good food and atmosphere, and will continue to do so.

I paid €8 for a bowl of soup that was average but for the price it should have been a lot better. Staff were friendly but had to order at the counter.

Absolutely perfect. The best mid-day meal I’ve ever had. I was not going to order the Atlantic Chowder but was convinced by the staff. It was the absolute best chowder and soda bread I’ve tasted. And everyone is so friendly and the outside seating was beautiful.

Fish & chips were very tasty, the prawns were also very good. The service was good but the outside area was a bit noisy and dirty. Nevertheless, a really good place to go for delicious seafood.

This is a small family run restaurant with delicious, unique dishes. We had the most flavorful beet and goat cheese salad. The goat cheese was heated to perfection, with a light panko style crust. Our entree was a puy lentil pie. It was encrusted with mashed potatoes. The staff was excellent and added to our dining experience.
