This restaurant is such a cute place! I’ve most delicious clam chowder soup & a very fresh garden salad. The service was excellent, friendly people and delicious food. Recommended! 🍲🥗

Charming restaurant with delicious food. I was there at the end of July with my mother staying within walking distance of the restaurant, and it was one of the best meals we had during our 5 day trip in Ireland.

Seafood chowder was the chunkiest and meatiest I’ve had amazinggg so much fish and variety plus the pickles and fresh dill insane Fresh warm sweet soda bread as well and great kind service!! Thank you :)!

An absolute must stop in the area. Excellent service, welcoming us at the door. Beautiful interior and delicious food. The atmosphere is truly what romance movies are made from. A little gem that is a must visit. One had the seafood chowder, the other the open ham sandwich. Both very tasty.

15/02/2026: Popped in on a Wednesday night in dark damp January. Nice open fire. Thought the kitchen may be closed but ordered and ate two decent fish and chips. Tartar sauce was a bit weird, sort of a chemical taste but otherwise fine. Guinness was good, and a good price. Look forward to coming back when the place is in full swing.
14/02/2026: It was quite lovely. The music was good The Guinness,a bit sweet. Conversation lively. The bartender lovely and attentive. I wonderful place to round out your evening.

26/02/2026: Went a couple years ago with my mother. Never left a review then, but it was incredible, a hidden gem with great atmosphere and wonderful fresh food, in a wonderful setting too.
28/09/2025: We had a wonderful experience at the restaurant! The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and the staff were very attentive and friendly. The seafood was incredibly fresh and delicious – every dish was beautifully prepared and presented. We truly enjoyed everything and will definitely come back. Highly recommended!
