Decent authentic Victorian pub, not much craic from younger staff but that’s like most places nowadays, definitely worth a visit

Awesome place. This American had heard the term “creamer,” but I had no idea. It was definitely the best Guinness I’d been served all week. Service was good too.

Brasserie

28/12/2025: We really enjoyed it. The view was spectacular, the staff were very friendly, and the food was amazing.
19/12/2025: 1837 Bar & Brasserie was the highlight of our visit to the Guinness Storehouse — honestly, even better than the Storehouse itself. After the sensory overload of the exhibits, this was the perfect place to pause, refocus, and truly enjoy the experience. The atmosphere was calm, refined, and welcoming, and the view was absolutely stunning. Our host, Caitlin, made the experience unforgettable be being incredibly knowledgeable, warm, and genuinely accommodating. Service was fast, attentive, and thoughtful without ever feeling rushed. Quite honestly, this was the best customer service experience I’ve had in my life — full stop. At Caitlin’s recommendation, my husband and I ordered the stew, and it did not disappoint. It was hands-down the best stew we’ve ever had. I’ve even tried recreating it back home in Canada — it was good, but it will never be that good. And the chocolate Guinness mousse? Absolutely unreal. Without exaggeration, it was the most delicious thing I’ve ever eaten. If you’re visiting the Guinness Storehouse, do not skip 1837 Bar & Brasserie. It elevated our entire visit and turned it into something truly special. We’d go back in a heartbeat.
