We visited for an after hiking drink on a Saturday afternoon. The atmosphere was relaxed and friendly, the pints were amazing.

Caroline was so kind, so polite and of course funny. The food is absolutely amazing and the bar is even better. There is a lot of mood lights around and very nice old fashioned decor and portraits, I M Reidy's is absolutely amazing and would Definitely recommend it

This place was very nice, fun and good! The service was amazing, the live music was great and the food tasted so good! We consider this one of our favorite places to eat while visiting Ireland!

The food was excellent. I had the steak. On the side, there were fries with Parmesan cheese, onion rings, peppercorn sauce, and herb butter. Everything tasted great. The price was €32. The beer was also quite affordable. There was live music during the meal.

JM Reidys, this place was recommended to us by our friends who also had visited recently and by the reviews seems like a popular spot in the middle of the town. The food was so good, fresh and full of flavor. It’s such a busy spot that customers tend to be forgotten about, everyone is rushing and there’s no personal touch. It was a lovely meal and the friendly staff members who we did have briefly encountered were really nice. Killarney is such a busy spot and we are looking forward to trying again when things are not so crazy maybe. The tacos were very good, definitely recommend. Thanks for a lovely meal.

A massive space for a pub with such a wonderful atmosphere! Loved every minute of being there with my partner and sang to the songs played by the band! Definitely will come back to this buzzing place!

11/08/2025: We went there twice. The first time was on a Friday evening and the second time on a Sunday. The food was delicious both times, although the cheesecake wasn't the best choice. The service was fantastic on Friday. However, on Sunday it was apparently very busy, which was clearly noticeable to the staff.
10/08/2025: We have been traveling along the coast of Ireland (beginning and ending in Dublin) and have been seeing wonderful beauties, but I have been desperate for live traditional Irish music. Had tried some other pubs, and many were playing American music. We saw a bus advertisement of this place advertising they have Irish music every night. The two gentlemen/musicians that we watched here were amazing. They were very entertaining and interactive with the audience. They got me to play tambourine twice along with their music (and also my husband). So much fun, and very friendly atmosphere. Can’t speak for their food since we didn’t get food here, but they have good old Guinness; and I’ll highly recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a live traditional irish music.
