I had seen on the website that it was a place that had seafood oysters and had won several awards from the some Irish Association. That caught our attention and we booked there to celebrate my birthday. The service was very good. The menu is far from offering seafood, local fish, and even less so oysters, given that there's a farm less than 10 minutes away by car. A huge disappointment.

Location was very picturesque as it is in a quiet village, off the beaten track with views across the water. Excellent meal, served by efficient friendly staff. The atmosphere was enhanced by having a traditional Irish pub setting to the front, on passing through a small door arrive in a very modern restaurant.

Beautiful restaurant! The food is impeccable! The service is impeccable! The musician even played a Chinese piano piece for me. This was an unforgettable dinner, thank you!

A fine dining experience, well worth travelling an hour for. When you walk in, first impressions are that you're in another country pub but pass through the pub (they serve food here too), and you get to a very elegant dining room. Menu is not expansive, but given what we tasted, it doesn't need to be. Starters of queen scallops, with lemon beurre blanc, chorizo crumb, and smoked bacon were fantastic. Scallops were perfectly cooked, juicy, tender, and well complemented by everything else. Main of halibut was worth killing for. A substantial fillet of halibut perfectly cooked again, served with beurre blanc and crispy pancetta. Sides of carrot and green beans topped with toasted flaked almonds were excellent. Unfortunately, the white asparagus was tough and stringy to eat, and I'm not sure that the crushed, oven roasted new potatoes with sour cream was the most complementary accompaniment to such a stunning piece of fish. Dessert of Passion Fruit pannacotta was beautifully presented and was exactly the right texture. A great finish to a super meal. Service was excellent, attentive without being overpowering. A bill of €180 (including tip and 1/2 bottle of wine) was well worth it. I will definitely be back.

Absolutely amazing restaurant. The food is absolutely incredible, the staff are fantastic and the scenes are breath taking. Not to mention I had the best Espresso Martini I have had in my life. I would recommend to anyone in the area to travel down, particularly if you are a seafood fan. Can’t wait to come back.

Excellent meal for all 5 of us. Mainly a fish / seafood menu. Felt the starters were a bit pricy for what one got, but absolutely delicious, as we're the main courses.

Beautiful setting , fabulous food and excellent service from all the staff who were so pleasant and helpful, really nice experience in a scenic setting
