Fantastic spot with great food, especially seafood.

Now this is a really special place for a great meal with great views. We have been there several times and always been 100% happy with it. Staff are very helpful also. Highly recommended.

December 2024: Dined over the Christmas week, simply a fantastic food and attention to detail experience. 11/10 rating starting from the bread, oysters and fish we ate. Everything was super delicious, highly recommended! August 2025 : After having tried Jack's Coastguard in December 2024, we decided to hold our wedding reception at this restaurant and it was an absolutely great decision. Apart from the fact that I loved the location and the surrounding scenery, it was an excellent experience on the day. We had the bar area set up for our canapés, sandwiches and drinks, nicely set and decorated, including a surprise red carpet and candles entrance decorations. The canapés and sandwiches were absolutely delicious, it was such a lovely experience to experience Jack's bar area for this part of the reception time. It gave people the opportunity to chat in a cosy Irish atmosphere. Then we had our dinner in the restaurant. The food was absolutely amazing and delicious. Top notch experience! And to top it all up we had JP, the resident pianist who did an absolutely fantastic job playing wonderful music and creating an absolutely cracking fun atmosphere 😍 It was simply an unforgettable day. Thank you Jack's Coastguard Team for a wonderful experience! I would repeat it all over again!

Picturesque place, in front of the bay, quiet, pleasant, clean, perfect. Adequate price quality. Fully equipped apartments.

Incredible food, wonderful service topped off with a beautiful view. Scallops, Black Dover Sole and Halibut cooked to perfection.

A little in the expensive side but the food is always good. Service is friendly and attentive. Location is a bleak but wonderful part of Ireland

The mussels are amazing. A wonderful place to celebrate any special occasion.
