Jacob's Ladder Restaurant in Cobh

My family booked a birthday dinner for me at Jacob’s Ladder, and it turned out to be a lovely evening. The view by the water is absolutely beautiful, and the staff were friendly and attentive. My daughter arranged a surprise dessert for me, and the restaurant served it with a candle to blow out ,a thoughtful and heartwarming gesture! The food was delicious overall, though my husband found the chicken supreme a bit awkward to eat, as it was served in a deep bowl rather than a plate. A flatter dish would have made it easier to cut. Despite that, everything else was wonderful: great atmosphere, tasty food, and a lovely place to celebrate special moments.

Nice location with a view of the ship dock. Rates 2 stars for service as stuff was absolutely not taking care of their clients. Waiting too long to order ,waiting too long for the bill as four of us were watching like three waitresses had a nice chat between themselves in the bar. Nevertheless, chowder was very tasty- well done to chef! As well as burger.

Excellent food on the sea with a beautiful sunset. The hake with mashed potatoes and tartar sauce was delightful. The roasted beetroot and walnut salad with raspberry sauce was also anazing

We sat outside to enjoy the beautiful weather. The seafood chowder was amazing.
