Lovely food, awesome staff. Recommended

Good food, great views We were here for dinner after the cruise ship crowds had left. We saw the 2nd one leaving as we sat there. I had the Thai chicken red curry. It was mildly spicy and I would have preferred spicier, but the flavor was good. It could have had more vegetables in it as well. They were great, but not many. My wife had the chicken supreme which she thought was very good and she too really enjoyed the vegetables that were on the side of her dish. We had a table by the window and enjoyed the view until it got dark. The overhead lighting by the windows could be dimmed a little as after it got dark, all we could see was our reflections in the glass and the lights were brighter than we liked for a quiet dinner.

The food was excellent, staff were good. We were sitting by the windows with lovely views, only downside was people sitting outside drinking, who kept coming in and out and leaving the door open, we had to keep closing the door as it was freezing cold.

We dined here and had the feather blade beef and Thai red curry. Food was fantastic, staff were lovely and all with a stunning view on to the water! 10/10, would recommend!

We went there without a reservation, the restaurant was full, yet they managed to find us a table. The food was excellent and the plates full... like our tummies at the end of the dinner. Next time we won't forget to book a table!

Had a beautiful meal at Jacob's Ladder restaurant this evening. Service was very good, meal was delicious and the views are fantastic! Couldn't ask for anything more!

Very good atmosphere and delicious food.

This was my go to for a meal on my day our in Cobh and managed to get seated outside. I ordered 2 starters/ the mussels and seafood chowder and a portion of mash (I know..!). The mussels portion was huge (though the mussels were tiny!) so I ended up declining the chowder. Service was great, highly recommend!

Great views out over the bay from the outside tables, however these aren't bookable... If you book you get a table inside just in case it rains. Walk-ins can get a table outside. Food was good, but nothing special.
