Jeremiah Grant Bar and Eatery in Portlaoise

I had a private function upstairs in the The Highway Man Bar, the staff were amazing and went above and beyond. The food platters were stunning, including a vegetarian option which was absolutely delicious. Highly recommend ⭐️

There was a birthday party going on however the service was still great and fast. I had the Grant's Burger & my partner had chicken goujons and chips. My burger was 10/10. Goujons were nice as well. The server was nice and checked in on us a few times. The music wasn't too loud and the atmosphere was nice. I wish I'd taken a picture of my burger but I forgot. Anyways, I will definitely come back again the next time I'm near Laois.

Food is simply unreal. So so so good! Service is top notch too - always checking if we were good and if we needed anything else but not to a point that would bother us Second time here and both times we had the same experience

Barmaid/waitress is excellent, always time to chat, really friendly and efficient. Food top notch too.

It was highly recommended by Donnacha and we travelled down from Offaly and it was absolutely amazing. The bar the serve and the food were just outstanding. Donnacha recommened what food to get and it was class. Thanks to Donnacha for the amazing service and we will be back again

Gave it a 4 purely on the food. Waitress sat us n gave menus whilst setting our table which clearly needed a wipe. Asked another for cloth n she stood there while I wiped the table down. No smiles on either waitress as they served. Young lad behind bar( lovely head of curls) was very chatty to customers. Food was extremely tasty n we both thoroughly enjoyed it. All in all a pleasant meal .
