It was definitely touristy, but this was the only place in Ireland where we could get Irish Mist liqueur.

Good food, I got the burger but was disappointed we got the fries instead of normal chips. Which seemed to be served with other meals. Good pints, cheaper than others about. No sky sports or TV playing sport.

Excellent respite after a bike ride to the cliffs. Be sure to send a post to your friends from the bar

Lovely local spot on the island. Great food and service. Not outrageously expensive but certainly up there.

The Bar

13/08/2026: We popped in for an early dinner at The Bar and had a great time. The proprietor was friendly and chatty and the food was excellent. Two generous salads and some great spring rolls. The place filled up quickly at dinner time (we were there in mid summer), so get there early to secure a table.
09/08/2026: Visited on a Saturday night in August. Good pub food. Lively atmosphere. Music and singing.
