04/05/2026: We were accommodated by the kitchen coming up to last service at 8:45pm.
The meal we had was great, especially the burger which was perfectly cooked.
The service was great and after dinner we were treated to some great music.

The Bar

05/05/2026: Stopped in for lunch on a day trip, and very happy we did. The food was fantastic, and the young man at the bar was a doll. All of the walls are covered in history. Definitely stop in for a pint and check it out!

26/08/2025: Very nice place to get lunch or eat a takeaway pizza in the evening. The service from staff was great, all of them very kindly. About the food, one day we got fish and chips and honestly was better than expected, not the same with homemade lemonade and ice tea, completely avoid order these. Another day we ordered few takeaway Pizzas around 9pm when every other place around is not serving food so they saved us.
23/08/2025: Ordered a salad and soup. Very little options for drinks, gin and tonic came in wine glass (couldn’t get much tonic in). Wooden cutlery ?! Food was ok. Perfect location on a lovely day. Seats outside and inside.
