It was such a pleasant time to have a pint here. Not too crowded, great Beamish on tap, and the bartender was happy to answer all my questions about beer and whiskey. A real gem of a pub.

I have to say it's been awhile since I was here. I was going to a concert across the road in St. Lukes church auditorium with my son and it was the best place I've been to in awhile for a great pint of Beamish. My son also gave it the thumbs up for Guinness. You can buy a pizza next door and bring it in and also it seems to be dog friendly. Thumbs up.

Lovely pub I've visited on and off for nearly three decades. Friendly, calm, bohemian, and the perfect pub for the very special St Lukes Cross area - one of the most scenic and characterful areas of the city. I had many a lovely stroll down to this pub from lower Montenotte where I lived for a long, long, and very special, honeyed, time (across from the Arbutus which Corkonians will know well). Great pub, wonderful area, and haunted by the most dear and treasured memories.

Had meal with friends. The atmosphere is so pleasent and the staff are efficient and helpful. Loved the tapas good portions so the men were happy. Had a drink in the bar afterwards and it was buzzing. My favourite place to go to with friends.
