Johnny Franks Bar in Tralee

Food was beyond fantastic. Honestly we were surprised that we had some of the best pasta we had ever had in this hotel restaurant in Tralee. The cannelloni was absolutely to die for. Drink options were varied and extensive. Would love to come back here if only for the food.

Arrived at this restaurant after walking out of Gallys where we were kept waiting twenty minutes and still nobody came to take our order in an empty restaurant so left.Food was amazing and Service was excellent, very efficient waitresses who were friendly and attentive.Food was beautiful, steak sandwich was very tasty and nice to find a strip loin steak in my steak sandwich and not grizzle like some places ,Guinness was good ,my Partner had Chicken which she enjoyed and everything was served warm and fresh.The cheesecake desert was the only dull moment ,a bit tasteless and if not for the caramel sauce would have been brutal .Nice to come out midweek and get nice decent food and drink with proper service.Menu selection is far superior to Gallys with alot more choice and better value.

Staff are very attentive and helpfull.good food and fast service.

Excellent locally sourced food perfectly cooked, beautifully presented. Busy at lunchtime, but still excellent service.
