Jurys Inn Cork in Cork

Helena checked us in with ease. We were very happy with the room she picked for us. We felt very special on our anniversary to have a great view of the river and beautiful gothic church. She was very excited to share about the Dragon of Shandon parade which we were there to see. She was so sweet and accommodating. Just a truly genuine person. Athina was working all around the hotel. She provided us with excellent customer service at each part of the hotel. We felt like a part of the family when she was taking care of us. Her positive attitude really made us feel welcome. We were so happy to spend Halloween with Athina. She also gave us many wonderful insights to her beautiful hometown of Cork! Rachel was very helpful also. She allowed us to take some extra time to pack our bags even though the hotel was completely booked. Every time we saw her she greeted us with a warm smile. She was able to answer all of our questions about the area and assisted us in speeding up our check out process. We will definitely be choosing Leonardo again for our next trip to cork and abroad.

Me and my parents stayed in 1 room with 1 double and 1 single bed. The room was fine, but it seemed like they were in the process of changing some of the bathroom fixtures. There were holes in the shower/bathtub from where the old handrail was, and the shower head wasn't screwed on all the way. The light fixture, also, had rust on it. The beds were fine, but they are wheels, so they are easy to move around, if needed. There was only 1 outlet next to the beds, and the other 2 were next to the TV. On the other side of the room. None of the outlets were USB. The rest of the hotel is lovely. The lobby has a lot of seating, and the people working there are very friendly. There is also an electronic board with recommendations of things to see in the city. Honestly, it does a better job than Google Maps or travel sites. If this is your 1st time in Ireland, I would recommend getting the buffet. Is is €13 per person from 6am - 10 am. They serve a "traditional Irish breakfast" even if they don't advertise it as such. Overall, it is a very nice hotel that I would recommend to others.

Fairly pricy but quite good and clean

Clean rooms, friendly staff, good location that's close to the city but quiet. Well worth paying for the bountiful breakfast in advance.
