A great hotel in a great location, close to Patrick Street in Cork.

I paid €180, room 430. there was no minibar or small refrigerator, the bath water wasn't hot, and the room was very, very noisy. I'd like to clarify something. This is the second time I've stayed at this place in 8 months. We traveled from Donegal Town to Cork for one night because of a university exam The first time I paid €115 (the only criticism that time was the mini bar in the room. My wife is diabetic and we had to keep the insulin cold) but we were able to solve it ourselves. The hotel refused us a full or partial refund. I don't care, money comes and goes, but this regular customer will not be returning to this hotel. The reason? I paid €300 for one night, but I paid €300 for a very old room (430), with an old TV, no minibar, and a shower with lukewarm water and, above all, extremely noisy. Very positive things: the hotel staff were lovely! The room heating (430) was perfect. Thank you, and I hope leonardo hotel improve. I would recommend this hotel, I always thought it was similar to to budget hotels, I'm not sure why, maybe it's the foyer, or the fact that it used to be one maybe? It's not a 4 star hotel, I don't' know how it's been adveryosed as one, but it's a solid 3. It needs some work to bring it up. The bar area has they feel of other budget hotels like IBIS etc. Some improvements for the breakfast menu would be welcome. The surrounding areas is a little off putting, but it isn't far to some good bars and things. In comparrison to other 4 star hotels in the region, it's lacking.

Nice staff! Very clean rooms, nice bed, soft towels. It's a pity that I can only stay for one night, but I will definitely come back 🫶🏽

The Hotel is located in excellent location closer to public transport. However they got limited parking. The rooms need more attention and cannot say they are perfect. The traffic noise is bit loud inside rooms. The breakfast is good.

The staff were exceptional during our visit. Aleksandria, Shannon and Cesar deserve a special mention. Thank you so much for making our stay so pleasant. We had a great sleep in the comfortable bed and the car park was very safe and secure for our work trailer and our jeep. We walked to the restaurant and to a live music gig and walked back. Very central. We will definitely return.

I stopped off for a hot whiskey on a cold day waiting for a bus and in all fairness I can't really take from the inexperience young man working behind the bar but when I heard patrons encouraging him to do things how they should be done I was taken aback. Now, when I saw a tip jar with some cash ina till with a drawer I assumed wholeheartedly as I sat down I could pay with cash but apparently I couldn't. That annoyed me more than it should because they would have gotten a cash tip. I can't imagine what it's like to run a city center hotel but if I could imagine I'd do it differently.

Love to use the Leonardo hotels, cork was a lovely experience. I did travel with my daughter 💕 and we had so much fun together ❤️. The small town Cobs make a great experience. Really like cork.
