Kariba’s café Balinasloe is a hidden gem. It’s a discrete top class cafe in the west of Ireland. It’s understated and lovely and refreshing. No noisy music . Comfortable seating. The staff were friendly and respectful of me needing a quiet time to sit and enjoy my coffee and cake .. The food is delicious. The premises are clean and fresh .. I will definitely be back ..

Very tasty full Irish breakfast. The owner could not have been any more friendly or helpful and purchased a charging cable in the shop next door so I could charge my bike computer. Very much appreciated from the Kildare Cycling Club crew.

Called in for new-years lunch; to treat myself, first day back at work. So glad I found this cozy little spot! The staff are just so welcoming & friendly (even when their so busy!) Treated every customer like family, no wonder it was full of locals. Food was hot & tasty, served speedy. I got dessert to go, because it was a busy period didnt want to hold a table for just me... Highly recommend Chicken wrap & almond/pear tart. Their window display for Christmas was amazing too. So worth a visit. Ill definately be back x

Found this place by accident, what a treat, without doubt the nicest breakfast I've had out by a country mile. Staff are lovely and there is a lovely cosy atmosphere, feels like home

Exceptional service and top class food as always. Never fails to impress us, we have been going here for many years.

There is a gorgeous Hallow'een display on the windows- witches, skeletons and pixies. I had a toasted sausage rasher sandwich and an americano coffee. It was very small and the toast was over toasted. The coffee was fine. There was no daily newspaper to peruse, though there's a newspaper rack stuffed with old, uninteresting magazines. My partner had a full Irish breakfast, which no longer comes with coffee. A couple of old ladies came in and tutted angrily to see that we were occupying "their" seat- they're welcome to it!
