Great spot to enjoy a burger and shake! Staff was kind, food was quick, and food was SPOT ON! They seem to have a limited menu, but they have it perfected.

"I'm not exaggerating when I say this is the best burger I've had today. The burger was good, the fries were hot and golden — like a reliable sidekick you’d definitely miss if they weren’t there. The wine? It was there, existing, doing its best — just like me on a Monday. But colder and whiter. All in all, nothing fancy, nothing fussy, just solid happiness on a plate. Five stars for making me forget I had salad in the fridge."

The food was fine, nothing more. For the price, I think it's a good place. The potatoes were nothing special, but at least they were thick. The service was pleasant, despite a few misunderstandings.

02/08/2025: We were here quite early on a Friday evening. Folk still leaving work ahead of a bank holiday weekend. There were only a few customers in at the time. A lot of reserved tables for later. The furnishings are mainly wooden chairs set around square tables, not very inviting when the pub is quiet. The food was spot on. Good choice, reasonable prices for the area and very nice. Four of us had different meals, we were impressed by taste, portion size and service. Beer and cider choice is better than some.
