17/01/2026: We travel to this restaurant several times each year and it never disappoints. This evening my companion had the black sole while I had the 12 oz waygu ribeye steak. Absolutely amazing food. Pauline and Michael in the kitchen are both excellent and imaginative chefs constantly keeping the menu interesting. Shannon, our server is always most helpful and friendly. I would advise to book in advance.

30/12/2025: On a whim, booked table for 2, for last night. Starter, duck liver pate and crusty bread, and red onion marmalade, was perfect starter. Main course, Wagu rib-eye steak , with onion, garlic potato and roast veg, the Wagu steak was divine, it was soo tender and full of flavour, complimented with the side of roast veg and garlic potato. Dessert was a beautiful home made mince pie, filo pastry base, with a frangipane topping, it was complimented with home made creme anglaise, it finished off beautifully a lovely evening of beautiful food, wonderfully prepared and presented by attentive competent waiting staff that added to this great expierence.
