We often stop here on the way to the west of Ireland. Its a great halfway stop. Lovely food, cosy atmosphere. Staff always lovely. Their veg soup and brown bread is delicious 😋

Monday lunch was excellent. We eat out in the conservatory which was most comfortable 😋

We were very disappointed. We booked a table by the window in advance to celebrate our wedding anniversary. When we arrived, no one acknowledged the reservation – the bartender simply directed us to the pub area and we were seated randomly. So what’s the point of asking for a name and details when booking, if no one bothers to check or care? The food was also disappointing. The duck from the daily menu was tough, dry, and hard to chew – it tasted like reheated leftovers. Not once did anyone come over to ask if the food was okay or if we needed anything. The service was cold, and the staff showed no interest in the customer experience. For that reason, we didn’t leave a tip. We won’t be coming back, and we won’t recommend this place to anyone.

Didn’t stay at hotel. Ate at bar twice. Excellent food. Staff are friendly and accommodating.

Sunday lunch for 4 hours was decent but like all gastro pubs/restaurants, it was overpriced The staff, in particular the man who seemed to be in charge could do with lessons in communication and good customer service HOWEVER it was the €1 charged per glass for diluted orange was the last straw AVOID there are much better restaurants out there

A beautiful bar, restuarant and hotel. Staff are attentive, polite and very willing and keen to ensure you fully enjoy your stay and that you enjoy the food that you eat. Bar staff are also first class. Hotel rooms are beautiful and spacious and very clean. Would most definitely recommend you visit even be it for just a meal or for drinks in the bar.
