On a little mini break in Cobh and Sat in the seating area outside Kelly’s this evening for a couple of drinks, the view of the harbour was so nice, in a lovely area, the staff were so lovely and customer service was exceptional, especially have to mention Ben who was so pleasant, friendly & welcoming with great customer service skills, a real people person, thanks a million for the excellent service, highly recommend this pub, also the guiness was lovely & the Sauv blanc.

It was a great place for a beer before getting back on the cruise ship. Friendly locals to chat with outside while enjoying the sunny day in Cobh/Cork.

13/08/2025: Brilliant Irish breakfast. Club sandwich was so-so. The majority of our group liked our meals. Something for everything on the menu. Would probably dine again.

The mushroom risotto impressed with its rich taste and perfect texture, while the seafood tagliatelle in a creamy tomato sauce was a true feast – the generous variety of seafood and the well-balanced sauce made the dish unforgettable. The staff were very friendly and attentive, and the warm, homely atmosphere made us feel comfortable and welcome right away. Serving Birra Moretti on draught. Definitely a place worth visiting!

Roaring Donkey

15/07/2025: Amazing spot ! so cozy and welcoming, even to two dumb canadian boys. Angeling was a absolute gem of a human and treated us so well. thank you thank you for the company and service. Cheers from Canada 🍻🫶
08/07/2025: We visited the Roaring Donkey twice on 2 consecutive days, despite it being a bit of a hike up the hill to get there. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming with chatty staff and patrons alike. We came away having learned quite a bit about Hurling. A great selection of drinks and I only wish that my local back home had more than one stout on offer. And the bonus for us .. it was downhill on the way back.
