Kielys Chipper in Cork

Wonderful lunch of fish & chips at Kielys. Best homemade tartar sauce I’ve ever had! While others in our party chose this place due to it being gluten free, I’ve got to say it’s the best fish & chips I’ve ever had anywhere! Highly recommend!

Amazing GF fish & chips: crisp not greasy, super friendly service, would give it 6 stars if I could! Visiting from Newfoundland, Canada, where we also have excellent fish & chips, but this place is next level!!

The staff was incredibly kind, generous, and thoughtful regarding gluten-free options. Celiacs safe and excellent tasting food. Would strongly recommend.

Simple place, serving traditional fish and chips. The product itself is actually good, but the batter is very greasy and ends up being too cloying. It's not worth a 4.8, sorry.

Excellent food and friendly staff. Food very fresh and very fairly priced. Kids chicken nuggets are ‘proper chicken’. Same can be said for the kids fish & chips. Good quality kids meals which can be a rarity. Also offer gluten free option! *adult fish & chips shown in pic and also the halloumi bites with parmesan.

The fish here is the best cod I've had in Cork. It was cooked perfectly with a nice thin batter. The chips were good too. Mushy peas were nice. The only thing that I though was fine, but my GF didn't think was intense enough was the tartar sauce. We will definitely be coming back here again. There isn't a lot of room inside to sit, but there are a few table outside. Prices were good for the quality and portion sizes.

Best fish and chips in West Cork. I visit this place once a week. Lovely staff, very nice atmosphere.Small restaurant,clean inside. Highly recommended!!!

Great fish, amazing batter, terrific chips, and a friendly proprietor. Now I need to find out how to bring him and his food to Idaho.
