Killarney Oaks Hotel in Killarney

Went to a wedding here. Absolutely outstanding. The location, the rooms, the dining experience. Staff were exceptional. Hotel is spotless & on a quiet location on the muckross road. Breakfast was good too. Great experience as guests at a wedding.

What a fantastic experience. The staff were so nice the food was fantastic. Only sidenote is the need to update these ancient hand dryers need to go!!

Winter wonderland. Beautifully decorated. Food amazing. Bring your appatiteLittle chilly in the rooms in the evening. Only negative. 25 minute walk to town. I will be back.

The only saving grace was the girls in reception. I never seen customers treated with such a lack of respect. All food paid for, for two days. Gusts said the would pay for a taxi and pay for the food, instead of being treated like cattle at mart. We are talking over twenty people. What a waste.

We got married in September 2025 at the Killarney Oaks and could not recommend it enough! Tara was such a pleasure to work with, from visiting the venue to the day of, she is an A+ planner/organizer. Eamon and all the Courtney family were so welcoming and the food was absolutely delicious- we’re still getting compliments on it. Plenty of parking, very spacious rooms, friendly staff, and a fabulous residents bar. We highly recommend the Oaks for your wedding in Kerry!

They say the staff make the stay. Nothing can be more true of the kilarney oaks, Manager Tara, created a home away from home on our stay.

Went here for a wedding months ago, then came for a nigt away, thought rooms were great, huge SK bed, lovely bed linen, clean rooms. Bar prices reasonable, staff I've come across always friendly. Would highly recommend and will definitely be back again!

No drinking water in the room.expensive for solo travel

This 4-star hotel enjoys a beautiful location near Lake Leane, which borders the town of Killarney. The room amenities are high-quality. Unfortunately, the breakfast is not up to 4-star standards: frozen bread and pastries, jam and processed fruit, a limited selection of cold meats and fresh fruit, and an overall poor quality level. The value for money is not commensurate with the price paid. Very disappointed with this hotel.

Pretty hotel just south of killarny. Good place to get a tripple room if you need one. 3 actual beds; not just a cot. Walk down the trail to thr lake hotel in the evening and enjoy the view from the ruins.
