Kingstons Boutique Hotel & Pub in Killorglin

Great bar. Decent selection of taps and a surprisingly nice cocktail menu. Pizza is excellent. Staff are sound. Big beer garden out the back. Cozy inside seating area.

We had a wonderful stay in the Apartment at the Kingstons in early Sept. Rooms were newly renovated, nicely furnished and very clean. The kitchen area is well stocked with anything you need to cook. The staff were all very helpful. We enjoyed the pizza at the pub as well. Plenty of free parking nearby and lots of restaurant choices. I would 100% recommend staying here. The only improvements I would suggest is to have a luggage stand for every room and have some place in the shower to put soap and shampoo. There’s nothing in the shower to put anything except on the floor, which is very strange.

Incredible experience! Both the room, the service, the breakfast and the meals are fantastic. Wonderful cleanliness and attention. The unbeatable staff. It is worth highlighting the excellence of their salads and pizzas. More than recommended.

We had a room with only a skylight window, but didn’t mind it at all as it still received lots of daylight. The room was very clean and looked newly renovated. The only thing that could be improved is space management: While the bathrooms are large, the vanity is tiny and there is almost no counter space provided. Given the size of the bathroom, you could easily fit a vanity with a few more inches of counter space and maybe a drawer underneath. There’s also a lack of places to hang towels to dry. Additionally (and a bit weirdly), the toilet is set very high.. like people under 6 ft tall probably wouldn’t be able to touch the ground.. Lastly, there are almost no plugs in the room. Everything (hair dryer, kettle, fan, phone) had to be plugged on the tiny bedside table.. kind of weird to have a tea station and vanity on the other side of the room with nowhere to plug into. On another note, the staff were superb! Very friendly and always happy to help. The pub downstairs is also amazing. The vibe is lovely, pizza tastes great (and can be made gluten free!) and drinks are decently priced compared to other options in the region. The location is fantastic, being close to the public parking in Killorglin and being situated perfectly for easy access to both the Ring of Kerry and the Dingle Peninsula. Would stay again!

Great cosy pub serving amazing pizzas. The staff and owner are always friendly and welcoming. There's a fireplace for winter and a nice terrace out the back for summer. The pizzas are worth going there for alone!

Hotel is very nice. Spacious room, comfortable beds, fantastic shower. And for all vegans, fodmap foodies, gluten and/or lactose intolerants: the pub serves excellent gluten- and lactosefree pizza!

We stopped at Kingston’s for dinner along the Ring of Kerry and everyone should! It was absolutely delicious, the service was excellent and attentive and the vibes were all round great. Special shoutout to the pizza special with squash and goats cheese- super good.

Wonderful staff and lively pub downstairs

Hotel? Bar? Boutique? 4 stars? Yes, everything is correct and everything fits. Super friendly, great service, great food – we ate (and drank) here every evening! Any time again, absolutely recommended. Since today I also know why everything tastes so good here - I was sitting right behind the bar 🤪 A quality control is carried out on every drink, of course in compliance with all hygiene regulations, exemplary and trustworthy! It should actually be like that everywhere, but unfortunately it isn't, which makes it all the more worth mentioning for me
