Knox's in Ennis

A lovely Irish pub with live music and authentic decor! Food was good - fish and chips and Sunday Roast Beef! Service was a bit slow as they were busy. Enjoyed the experience 😌

We stopped by for lunch and were pleased with the quality of the food served. The pub has a warm and welcoming atmosphere; the evenings must be lively and enjoyable.

​A lively pub with great food! We only had one night in Ennis and wanted a hearty meal and a cold Guinness after a long hike. Luckily, we found this pub and were seated immediately. The food came out so fast that our beers hadn't even arrived yet! The Guinness stew was delicious, with incredibly tender beef, and the fish and chips was huge and equally tasty. My only minor critique is that I wish it had been served with a bit more tartar sauce and peas, as they went quickly. We were seated upstairs, which gave us a fantastic view overlooking the packed, buzzing pub below.

I can't say enough good things about Knox's. My family and I had a very long day of traveling and our airbnb was not ready to be checked into so we went into Knox's for a bite to eat and some respite. All of the ladies working there were so welcoming and kind and patient with my little ones who were a little restless (one even fell asleep in the booth). My husband and I returned just the two of us on another night during our trip to listen to music and enjoy some drinks and it was a great time! I only wish I had remembered to buy him a Knox's t-shirt to remember it by!

An exceptional pub and restaurant. I was truly impressed by the attention to detail and the atmosphere. Unfortunately, we stopped for lunch with the kids and weren't able to fully enjoy the evening music and entertainment.
