Koto in Cork

We went to Kato for lunch, very decent place, fast service, good food. Noodles were extremly flavourful thanks to good use of spices which made food very delicious. My friend chose different dish but we both had duck and we both agreed that duck was cheewy and bit dry. Other than that everything was great.

Have you ever been so cold and hungry that you literally feel like your first spoonful of soup is regenerating your will to live? That was me having a bowl of the farang noodle soup at Koto. Flavors were exceptional, chicken was tender and I swear to sweet baby Jesus it warmed me down to my very soul. Gyosa was good too.

Good atmosphere, friendly staff always trying to find a table for you even if you don’t have a reservation. And absolutely delicious sanook salmon!

Full vegan menu and very generous portions!

Had dinner for two with no reservation and we got a table straight away! Food was delicious and so much to choose from! Would definitely return if Im back in Cork!

Food at KOTO is excellent – fresh, high quality and full of flavor. The Pad Thai Tofu and baby potatoes were amazing, and the hazelnut brownie with ice cream was fab. They have a separate gluten-free and vegan menu, which is a big plus. Service was great – when my partner’s curry was too salty, they immediately replaced it with a perfect one. Lovely ambience, great cocktails, and you definitely need to book in advance!

Have visited Koto a handful of times down through the years and have always had a great meal here. Restaurant is very nicely decorated and laid back, service is very smooth and the food is top notch, every aspect of the experience is done very well. An underrated restaurant in Cork City
