Koto in Cork

I ordered the green curry with duck. The richness of the coconut milk and the perfectly balanced flavors—a blend of Thai and European influences—were excellent.🍛🍛😋😋💗💗

I wolfed down the Chicken Katsu Curry. The food was ready quite quickly too.

We tried the Farang Noodle Soup (€21), a spiced chicken broth with rice noodles and vegetables. I found the soup very flavourful, but I didn't like the almost raw peppers and the lime taste was a bit too strong for me. That's totally personal, others might love it. The Eight Hours Brisket (€23.50) was excellent: slow-cooked beef, very tender, with a chilli and oyster sauce and wok vegetables. We added a fried egg for €1.50. Special mention to this beef, really tasty and melt-in-the-mouth. You can feel the freshness and quality of the ingredients. Generous portions. We paid €50 in total, no starter or dessert. Bottled water was offered free of charge, with glasses and ice cubes. A lovely touch. Dimmed atmosphere, we could still hear each other despite the crowd. Service was efficient and polite, dishes arrived in 5 minutes. The restaurant is near the big Tesco, on a quieter side street. There are tables outside and another floor, so quite a lot of space. We had tried to eat here at least 3 times before, but it was always full because people book. We got lucky on a weekday evening around 7:30pm. Booking is highly recommended. I recommend it and give it 5 stars, despite my personal disappointment with the soup.

Beautiful food and a really friendly welcome. Red Thai curry and the duck were our two choices.

Very nice but quite expensive. You can get the same food close by, but the quality is higher here. Hence the price.

The food was delicious. The appetizers and main course were all delicious. We tried the shrimp and salmon. Service 10/10.

Lovely place, the portions are huge - you pay once and can feed your family a wonderful dish for a week 🤭 The menu is diverse. I personally appreciate the vegetarian options and the fact that you can change the spiciness of the dishes. Prices are reasonable for the quality and size. All the staff are very friendly and attentive. The atmosphere in general is very warm and welcoming.
