La Bella Donna Restaurant in Donegal

This was pretty top tier eating experience. I feel if this was in the SF Bay area you'd easily pay $300+ for this kind of quality food and service.

Great food, good atmosphere. If nitpicking risotto was a bit undercooked and there was some dust on the divider. However all and all will be back

“Italy in the middle of Ireland” Good Italian menu with everything that goes with it and also one or two special things. We recommend the pizza with gorgonzola, pears and walnuts - see picture. Unfortunately the espresso was just a strong coffee.

You can eat perfect Italian food here. One wish would be that the wines could also be ordered in a glass. In addition, the espresso was not original. By that I mean that the espresso didn't taste that tasty. The toilets are okay. You can park at the Donegal harbor car park. You don't have to pay anything in the evening. It's about a 2-minute walk from the parking lot to the La Bella Donna restaurant.

Nice restaurant. Good quality food at reasonable pricing. We had a pasta dish and pizza both of which were very nice. There was perhaps too much garlic on the garlic potatoes.

Very good food all round, I have dined at a few Italians, and I would highly recommend this one, the lasagne and seafood pizza were great. My one small issue was the garlic, lots of it. If you like lots of garlic, then great, but a bit excessive for me.

My wife and myself visited here on Saturday of st Patricks weekend. Very busy as you might expect so I could forgive the service for our orders being a bit slow. However we were seated in front of the bar and there simply isn't room for a table here, other couples were in the same situation. The food was good and plenty of it, value was good also. The atmosphere is too bright in my opinion, just my own taste. I can see why this is popular in Donegal town.
