The perfect sandwich, atmosphere and friendly faces. Great for coffee, groceries or special treats like wine or cannoli for dinner at home with friends. A must-visit in Kilkenny!

Great staff, great people who are very polite, they have delicious food made in store - always made fresh, such as: fresh bread, pizza slices, sandwiches by Giuseppe and focaccia - and on offer to buy, i would personally recommend the Tiramisú, and their other pastries made ny Anita, including: homemade madeira cake topped with pistacchio cream and dried berries, as well as: pistacchio sfoigliatella, almond biscuits and mini Nutella cannolies. Prices are much more affordable here than in comparison to competitive cafés across the town where a coffee such as: a latte or capuccino would be €3.70 here, you would easily pay upfront of: €4 - €8 for the same beverage. Also, prices range from: €2.50 up to €5.50 at a maximum, which is much more cost-effective for customers. Finally, authentic italian coffee and a perfect brew of tea can always be found here at La Bottega. Coffee is available to be bought in a ground format AND a superior blend of roasted coffee beans

I love the care with which Giuseppe and Anita make everything so good and aesthetically beautiful, entering the shop is like entering the small shops near your home in a time and place where you have kept the sweetest memories.

The sandwiches were delicious, the bread was homemade, and the owners were really kind.
