We booked a reservation for La Collina in the Salthill area as we would be on our way back from the ferry terminal in Rossaveal after a day on the Aran Islands. The restaurant seems small only a few tables downstairs but there is seating upstairs. The menu was very nice and home made pasta stole the show. There was so much pasta to choose from and both of our meals were fresh and delicious . This is less than a 10 minute ride from Galway and would absolutely return! Service was great as well!

Genuinely one of the most amazing meals I've ever had. I got the ravioli (it was lamb the night we went) with the mixed red/cream sauce and oh my god it was so good! Super reasonably priced too — we ordered an appetizer, two pasta meals, a dessert and some sodas, and it was way less than we expected. Our server was so kind too.

I called as soon as they opened to reserve a table for the same night. Reservations are recommended. The service was excellent, atmosphere very nice and the food was memorable. I had a daily special with beef ragu and cream sauce. It was fantastic. We also shared a bottle of wine that was very good. They have a nice selection of Italian wines too.

Queríamos venir aquí el año pasado, pero no teníamos una reserva y ya estaban reservados en la única noche que pudimos. Este año, llamé tan pronto como abrieron y conseguí una mesa para la misma noche. El servicio fue excelente, el ambiente muy agradable y la comida era memorable. Tuve un especial diario con ragu de res y salsa crema. Fue fantástico. También compartimos una botella de vino que era muy bueno. Tienen una buena selección de vinos italianos.

Had an amazing night at La Collina on Culture night Friday 20th at an impromptu dinner date after the beach. Our food was top notch - got the meatballs, ham and mushroom pizza, and salmon and feta past - so fresh, perfect flavours and generous portions. Our waitress went above and beyond to make our night special. Didn’t get her name, but she was a flame haired lass who was so charming, attentive and friendly. Would have left a tip but we had no cash 🙁. Thank you so much! We will definitely be back.
