My favourite Italian in Galway. Authentic.

I called as soon as they opened to reserve a table for the same night. Reservations are recommended. The service was excellent, atmosphere very nice and the food was memorable. I had a daily special with beef ragu and cream sauce. It was fantastic. We also shared a bottle of wine that was very good. They have a nice selection of Italian wines too.

Outstanding food and people , best spaghetti I have ever had!!

Had an amazing night at La Collina on Culture night Friday 20th at an impromptu dinner date after the beach. Our food was top notch - got the meatballs, ham and mushroom pizza, and salmon and feta past - so fresh, perfect flavours and generous portions. Our waitress went above and beyond to make our night special. Didn’t get her name, but she was a flame haired lass who was so charming, attentive and friendly. Would have left a tip but we had no cash 🙁. Thank you so much! We will definitely be back.

Offer a wide range of delicious home style Italian food, house made fresh egg pasta, traditional cooking techniques and the freshest of produce available, to many veal, chicken and seafood dishes, to popular steaks, and many entree dishes, and don't forget about traditional pizzas. It's a place where family and friends can all come together, share a good conversation, funny stories and experiences,

My partner and me both got sea food pastas, which were both very yummy. The atmosphere of the place is also very cosy and staff very friendly. Only slight downside was the tiramisu, the cream unfortunately mostly tasted of heavy cream and not of mascarpone. Stilly highly recommendable though and would definitely go back.

Delicious gluten free pasta, wine, and excellent service in a beautiful atmosphere. So grateful to places like this that have delicious GF options. Mario our server was awesome. My husband loved his pizza as well. Highly recommend reservations for this place because they get busy.

Quaint little italian joint. I LOVE pub food and Irish stew and the like, but after a week in Ireland, we had a taste for something different and decided on Italian. This place squeezed us in for a last minute reservation for 8 and I'm so glad they did. From appetizers (Order the antipasto) to the desserts....delicious, perfectly timed, and wonderful service! The lamb shank pulled apart with a fork. All the pasta, pizza and chicken dishes we got were cooked to perfection. And the desserts.... we ordered all for the table to split....and each was better than the last! Loved the salted caramel gateaux!

Fantastic and authentic Italian restaurant in beautiful Salthill. Second time to La Collina and both times fabulous experience. Definitely an Italian restaurant of choice in Galway. Great people and great service.
