pros: Lovely atmosphere and surrounding. nice ambience.
cons: crepes are smaller than before and a bit tasteless. I am still hungry after eating although I am not asking for a special diet. It seems like the management has changed. it was more nutritious before.
Megan and the chef and everyone are fantastic great service even better staff and super cooking and location. We are a regular to this jewellery of the 👑 of Greystones!
Received a very warm welcome, dining with my son, the buckwheat crepes are so tasty, presentation, menu choice, interior, positive vibe, efficient service, prices were all excellent standard, also the talented chef/ owner gave us a warm welcome/ greeting.
Very much recommend in West Cork. X
I can’t say anything about the food (although it looked delicious) because we didn’t eat. We had a couple of takeaway coffees and hot chocolate which were both excellent but I just have to say how lovely the staff were, smiling and friendly, bit of a chat and totally competent. It makes all the difference.
Staff to be treasured!!
We stopped here for an ice coffee on a sunny afternoon. Nice outside area, relaxed and cosy. It looks like being in France for a change. We didn’t get any food but the ice coffee was nice.

We’re regulars at Cafe Grey, and for good reason! The food is consistently excellent, with each dish more delicious than the last. No matter how often we go, we’re always impressed by the quality and flavors. The staff and owners make us feel right at home—friendly, attentive, and genuinely passionate about creating a great experience for everyone. It’s rare to find a place that’s this reliable and welcoming, and Cafe Grey has truly become our go-to spot. Can’t recommend it enough!
28/10/2024: My wife was craving something sweet, which is not unusual, but meeting that requirement at 4pm, especially for some dessert which is freshly prepared and is the 'world's best' is hard to come by.
Really yummy well balanced desserts.
