La Maison in Dublin

Had a very enjoyable birthday dinner here with my partner. The service was really great and the food was amazing. We both agreed dessert was our favourite course but everything was super high quality and delicious. Will be back again

We were lucky to get a table here on a Friday - St. Valentines Eve and the Eve of a big rugby match - my three companions were visiting from Italy for the occasion. We had to sit out on the terrace (it was a very cold night !!) - but there were heaters and lovely snuggly blankets !! It’s a very small menu but the food was excellent. Not cheap - but definitely worth it !!

Superb little french restaurant, wonderful service, immaculate room and some of the best service in Dublin. We arrived early before the theatre so availed if the pre theatre menus, amazing value, and a comprehensive wine list, we enjoyed a very well made Negroni before dinner which lasted over our starter. We dined inside and although it was a cold evening the heated terrace felt cozy on both arrival and leaving.

Excellent restaurant on so many levels. Atmosphere is very special as is the food. As an appetizer we shared the scallops. The maître d’ told us they have been in the menu for 15 years and I understand why. I had the Coq au Vin and my husband had the Venison Loin. He said his was one of the best restaurant meals he has had in many years. We travel frequently and enjoy (and cook) fine food so this is a massive compliment. Highly recommend this restaurant if you are in Dublin. Photos don’t do the restaurant justice. Multiple rooms and levels so it feels very intimate.

The scallops in the starter were a bit bitter and slightly overcooked, but the main course was excellent. The atmosphere was lovely and the service was outstanding. Overall, a very pleasant dining experience.

Great restaurant. The ambiance is very pleasant - chic. The food was delicious with just the right portion size for me. I didn't overeat not was I hungry when I left. The staff was very friendly and competent. Certainly a recommendation for a good business dinner or a romantic evening.

Went in for a set menu with my partner. We had cod croquettes and French onion soup for starters, as for mains we got the cod and the chicken, and creme brule for dessert. As for the starters they were very good. The croquettes had a delicious sauce alongside them and the soup was full of flavour. Just be aware that it has cheese that sticks to the spoon. The chicken main was cooked beautifully and full of flavour. Loved that the chicken was very juicy. The cod was also very well cooked and tasted amazing. The creme brule was tasty but it was cold. I personally prefer mine to be warmer. Overall it was an amazing meal and experience. Well worth it.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Definitely recommend and we will go again.
