La Strada in Ennis

After a long time I got good pasta from la Strada. Not sure if they have changed their chef. This place was our go to place but For a very long time we got salty and not very tasty pasta. But now it's good to have pasta again.

Excellent fresh salad, pizza and pasta for a reasonable price.

Absolutely love food here. Reasonably priced, never fail me.

The staff was lovely and the place itself was comfortable. The food on the other hand was incredibly lacking. We ordered two plates of pasta with white sauce, one of them baked. The baked pasta’s sauce was completely liquid, no creaminess whatsoever, the mushrooms hadn’t been cooked previously and there wasn’t any browned cheese. Overall we left pretty dissatisfied.

Excellent food, friendly service and great value.

The portion sizes were generous. I had the fish and found it a bit overcooked, which made it dry. The pizza had a slight yeasty flavour. The seating was a bit cramped, with tables quite close together, so maybe not ideal for a quiet meal. It would be great for lunch with kids. The staff were friendly and attentive. You must try King prawns for starter delicious!

Pizza and tiramisu were really tasty, but the Aperol Spritz was too strong and flat. The staff reminded us about 4 times that they needed the table back at a certain time. One reminder would’ve been enough and made the experience feel more relaxed.
