Great dining experience, the highlight of our stay at Mount Juliet!

This place deserves at least 2 stars, one of the best fine dining experiences I’ve ever had. 10/10

As a culinary connoisseur, I do appreciate both flavours & textures as well as executions & presentations of menus and individual dishes. Lady Helen didn't disappoint. It was our first visit here, and after an unexpected pre bday dinner at a 2* Michelin restaurant back home, just a week ago, I was quite curious and honestly a bit excited about what to expect. As already mentioned, Lady Helen didn't disappoint, both culinary and customer service wise. The culinary journey was well orchestrated and beautifully executed. Chef Jon Kelly loves to power up the flavours with richness and lucious ingredients. As an example, I totally enjoyed the Foie Gras, as the flavours were pleasing your palate despite or because of the light but rich texture. It's almost a controversy but yet perfectly composed. My personal culinary highlight was the Red Mullet with carrots, violet artichoke, and bouillabaisse. It was well balanced, light, and a true flavour firework. The MJE Honey with Waterford Whiskey and Blood Orange was devine. Equally important is the wine pairing, matching your culinary delights. Here we met Jean Baptiste, a fantastic somilier from France. I'm always sceptical when it comes to pre defined wine pairings because many somiliers are too complicated as they try too hard. Not so with Jean Baptiste. His selection was amazing. Straight forward, with plenty of positive surprises, not too experimental but beautifully enhancing every single dish by finding the perfect match to further elevate our experience. Chapeau! Last but not least, the service was impeccable. Every single member of the team at Lady Helen was full of positivness and had a remarkable customer service attitude. We totally enjoyed our evening, and it was a perfect dinner experience to celebrate my bday

This was an outstanding experience that was as good if not better than any of the 2/3 star Michelin restaurants I have been to. Stephen is a super talented chef and Jonathan the sommelier did a very interesting and perfect wine pairing. Could not fault a single element of the meal. I would rate this in my top 3 dining experiences in Ireland without a doubt.
