Lake of Shadows Hotel in Buncrana

Great food and atmosphere here. Haven't actually stayed the night (we live in a motorhome, so have no need), we tend to just come for a drink or a bite to eat. Staff very friendly and efficient, Guinness is spot on, and the food delicious.

Called in for Sunday Dinner, have to say the food was absolutely delicious all round perfect.. Soup, dinner and dessert 🍨 fabulous 👌 will be back again. Thanks.

Attended for breakfast. Fresh and good quality food. Good selection on breakfast menu to suit all needs. However service was slow.

Didn't stay at the hotel, we just went to the restaurant. Had the most amazing vegan stir fry with rice.

Lake of Shadows hosted our wedding celebration party, and we couldn’t have been happier with our experience. All communication was handled efficiently, kindly, and professionally, and we instantly felt we were in a ‘safe pair of hands’ for our special day. The food was delicious — our guests really enjoyed the hot buffet options and the range of desserts. The function room was a great size, with a stage and plenty of space for a dance floor. It’s a lovely venue that easily accommodated our 80–90 guests. On the day, the staff couldn’t do enough for us and our guests. Special mentions for Paddy, Laura, Fintan and the night porter. We would highly recommend this venue to anyone planning a celebration.

I don't give 5 stars,but Lake of shadows they deserve that rating. Staff was very helpful and welcoming, we check in, Laura was very welcoming. Paddy, the barman, brought a smile 😃 to our face.
