Lanigans Bar in Kilkenny

Excellent sports bar, food just about ok and good atmosphere.

Took a bit long to get service, but once came, the lady was very polite. We sat down as a family of 4 including 5 year old. Nice atmosphere. The food I got was the roast beef and it was the best roast beef I've ever gotten. The soup however was very spicy that my 5 year old couldn't eat it and my mother barely touched hers. We will be back again in hope of an overall good experience again.

Polar opposite of another famous pub in spitting distance. The employees were warm and friendly. The music was fun and interactive. And the food was superb. Great time.

We had dinner at Lannigans our first night in Kilkenny. We were adjusting to the time zone and ate on the early side... so the place was practically empty. The first musicians were great and helped fill the place up. My fish and chips were good. The sticky toffee pudding was also good. Of course the beer and cider were delicious
