Lantern Chinese Restaurant in Ballina

Had a takeaway from there for a family of 6. We spent 55 euro on the food and the quantity and quality of the food was superb. The honey chicken was the best I have ever had. Will be calling again when in the area again.

The food reminds me jus how it was back in the day, tasty spicy and fresh I think since COVID restructure lifted the restaurant should have opened, don't get me wrong the window was a god send during covid but my PERSONAL opinion is they are rude when u approach they will leave u in hail rain or snow and instead of open window call your mobile "to come to the window" the "cash only payment" is a saying we hear at lot but not when I ring for delivery all of a sudden the machines work. One lady gives u food at the window and as a short person she doesn't even put it outside the window so I have to go on my tip toes to reach it. It doesn't hurt to be nice she could hand me the bag instead of watch me suffering trying to reach it. To his lady is far from a people pleaser The food speaks for Itself,business passed down recipe's To generations to come and it tastes the same now(of even better) than 20 years ago. The food is just stunning definitely worth a repeat
