Lawlors Hotel Dungarvan in Dungarvan

I travelled up from Clare to do a TY Ball gig last night upon arrival I was met by an absolute gentleman of a man, after a long journey up he went out of his way to help me load in the gear to the venue, checked up on me most of the night and made everyone feel safe and comfortable, nothing was a fuss for him he went out of his way to help in anyway he could, obliged to help take the gear down and put it in the van. I have done gigs in 100s of hotels and I have never met someone like him, an absolute asset to your team at Lawlors. What was probably a small gesture for the common person it made a lasting impression on me. A pleasure to deal with. Again I didn’t get his name but he does the Maintenance in the hotel. Thank you

Enjoyed the two days I spent here with my family, all of the staff where really friendly except for the bar/restaurant manager, I’m guessing he’s part of the family that own the place or he wouldn’t have a job. All the rest of the staff are friendly and helpful its because of them and their efforts I gave a mostly positive review and don’t want to let the bad manager ruin it for them.

Very basic hotel but was very cheap 80 euro for a double room. Staff where very friendly and helpful. Bar is a bit slow on orders. Food was OK but probably in line with hotel level.

Really comfortable family room. There was a problem with our reservation when we arrived, but the receptionist was so helpful in sorting it quickly. The breakfast was great, buffet for continental or ordering for the hot food. It was served very quickly. We felt the room was excellent value.

Really great value. Lovely receptionist. Breakfast staff were absolutely lovely.

A grand little hotel for a weekend break in the lovely town of Dungarvan.
