Just ate food in the cafe, we didn't stay. The food is lovely! It's a very cute little spot, perfect for brunch. The staff are very friendly and the food is reasonably priced.

This restaurant was so so great!! We were so worn out from our trip and this was the perfect breakfast to give us a little energy. The server was so friendly and the food was delicious, very fresh!

Luxurious feel to the bedroom, very comfortable bed, facilities excellent, location central, good breakfast with gluten free options, hassle free late arrival entry, friendly staff. Overall excellent stay. Would 100% recommend Lemon Leaf!

Rooms are basic but central and adequate. The breakfast was amazing and the hosts outstanding. So friendly. I would highly recommend. We got on road parking which was very easy!

Excellent food, lovely pastries, staff and manager/owner are very friendly. There's lots of seating inside but it's very popular with tourists though the staff will do their best to seat you as quickly as possible.

26/08/2026: This was our first visit to Max’s but it won’t be our last. We went to Max’s for a birthday dinner and it was genuinely one of our best restaurant experiences in recent memory. The service was brilliant. From calmly and discreetly, asking a very loud group of customers to tone it down to helping us pick between equally delicious-sounding dishes. And just generally being very attentive while not overbearing throughout the whole meal. The food, of course, was delicious. Fresh ingredients, beautiful presentation and amazing flavours. You could feel the care they put into creating their dishes and preparing the food. Oh, and no matter how full you think you are, don’t skip dessert!
20/08/2026: Came here earlier in the week for my dad’s 60th birthday. Food was outstanding and the service from the staff was excellent. Would recommend to anyone visiting Kinsale to have a meal here!

18/08/2026: The food here was fantastic! The potato cakes, beef & Beamish stew and beer battered fish were all top quality. The fish pie was really good once you added a squeeze of lemon juice but I would go back for the other three dishes. Great Guinness too.
13/08/2026: Food was very good, service was friendly, table was sticky (and I really hate that).
