Exactly what you want for a late night, post-pub recovery mission. The guys even threw in some complementary chips when I only ordered the fish. Had to chuckle at the leftover covid measures that were still up on the counter.

Literally the best chicken kebab of my life. Crispy flatbread, tangy spiced sauce, perfectly cooked, lots of veg. The servers are happy and funny and fast. This is high-quality late night food!

Greasy people, greasy food and i couldn't be happier. The cheese, bacon potatoe pies are delicious. Just know customer service and hygiene might be low but who cares, it's a chippy.

This is not a gourmet experience, this may not even be a pretty experience but it's quintessentially a chipper. Asking for a burger here does not get you anything artisinal, or crafted. But it gets you something solid. The chips are great, the fish is great, the service is no nonsense And that's fantastic. On a street and in a city that's increasingly expensive and artisinal, this and a few others stand in the way as not just a chipper, but an institution, like infrastructure. It's a quarter pounder that sates you. Its a kebab that gets you home. Chips that fill that hole in ypur heart and your soul. Like how people romanticise a reliable classic car, people should romanticise this chipper and others like it. As I said, this place is not glam or glitz, but it gets you fed and at the core of it isn't that better than any sort of pomp or notions? Chippers like this outlet are a dying breed, so it should be treasured.

Nice very typical place that serves food until late. Excellent cod fish and fried shrimp with potatoes. Abundant and cheap
