Wandered into this pub for lunch. Looked nice from the outside and really nice inside. Comfortable place to go in for food and drinks. Nice staff. Really nice and comforting food inside. Will visit again when I'm in ballina

Poacher Restaurant

22/03/2025: It's been a while since we ate at The Poacher. It's still brilliant. Lovely, thoughtful food, great flavours and textures all beautifully presented on the plate. The front of house team were welcoming and super efficient. A true gem in this part Ireland. It was very busy.... which says it all. Highly recommended.

07/02/2025: We recently had our baby's christening party and it was absolutely fabulous! Food, atmosphere & staff did not disappoint as always! We set out lovely menu options for our guests and everyone was happy and impressed with their food. We decorated our dining area with the help of the fabulous Sinead & staff in the restaurant. Nothing was an issue and looking forward to having our next family event soon.
