Lily House Thai & Chinese Cuisine in Kenmare

Best asian food I have ever had! I am allergic to soy and garlic (bad combination if you love asian food), but they made a delicious meat & prawn meal for me without it. I loved it! Honestly, strong recommendation!

We ate here tonight, food was soooo nice, tasted very fresh, we eat in alot of restaurants but couldn't fault it only that we wanted more of it! Definitely will be returning.

This was not only a great Chinese find in the heart of Ireland, but one of the best Chinese meals I have ever had! Do not miss this place!

8 days into our 14 day Ireland vacation we landed in Kenmare for 3 days and lodged at a lovely townhouse about half a mile from the city center. During our time in Ireland we had enjoyed traditional Irish cuisine, but were ready for something different. Lily House delivered in full. Lily is an upscale Thai/Chinese fusion restaurant with an interesting menu that allows the guest to customize their dish. I had the Chinese stir fry vegetables with tiger prawns and a black garlic and ginger sauce that left me wanting more. The food arrived on an iron skillet and was sizzling and crackling like a fajita dish. I ordered a bottle of a local Kenmare brewery golden lager which was the perfect beverage for my main course. I left Lily House having experienced the top meal of my trip. You can just stop in, or better yet, make a reservation.

This place is so fantastic. We had the Thai red curry and the Pad Thai and both were absolutely delicious. So light, fresh and healthy. The waiting staff were so kind and friendly too. I can’t recommend this place enough.

We had food here while we stayed in Kenmare and were impressed with the quality as weren't expecting it to be so good. It seems a very popular spot too for both takeaway and sit in. We got the chicken curry and schezwan chicken. Very good!

Tuvimos comida aquí mientras estuvimos en Kenmare y nos quedamos impresionados con la calidad, ya que no esperaban que fuera tan bueno. Parece un lugar muy popular también para llevar y sentarse. Tenemos pollo al curry y pollo Schezwan. ¡Muy bien!
