We had dinner at ReNao recently and it was top notch. It was our first time there and we will definitely be back. Large selection to choose from for every taste with variety of homemade specialty noodles which can be served with chicken, pork, duck, lamb etc. Lots of vegetarian options and a full vegan menu too. We didnt have starters but there was definitely some there I want to come back to try.
I opted for the green chilli and basil crispy chicken with noodles, while my husband got the szechaun chicken with spicy chips.
Both dishes were very flavoursome, came with plenty of veg, nice bit of spice and make sure you come hungry as the portion sizes are huge! Neither of us could finish our meals.
Our son had chicken balls with curry sauce and noodles which he loved.
Classic Mains are served with rice or you can change to noodles, spicy chips or chips for very small charge.
Good wine and cocktail menu.
Service was friendly, attentive and we weren't waiting too long for our food.
Meal came to €93 (including 3 glasses of delicious NZ sav blanc) which is good nowadays and you dont mind paying for quality food.
I look forward to returning to ReNao.

First night in Galway and we wanted something warm and flavorful. Had this place bookmarked when trip planning and were so pleased it lived up to the expectations.
Great atmosphere and within a minute we were offered a vegan menu- woo!
Corn Ribs - these were good but the next starter stole the show.
Spicy chips - fries with the most tantalizing spices. We devoured this and if we didnt have other dishes coming, would have easily eaten another plate!
Sichuan Sauce with seitan- darker sauce with seitan chunks that added great richness and depth to a slightly sweet peppery base.
We also had a tofu dish that uses a tomato base sauce - I cant remember the name of this other than it began with an “M”. This was a great compliment to the seitan dish.
We dug into the mains before I could get a good picture 😀
Great atmosphere and so cool to hear the rushing water down the river just in front of the restaurant when you walk out.

Food was fine, portions very small and expensive. Our waitress was friendly but service was insanely slow. Only saw 3 other customers but it took nearly an hour to get 3 appetizers and 1 entree. Waitress did not refill our water or check on us routinely, it took a long time just to order food. Food was very good when it arrived, but it just took so long that I would not return.
WOW, I’ve been here a few times and have never been disappointed. The food is absolutely phenomenal, the staff are incredibly welcoming, and it is a beautiful restaurant. If you haven’t tried it, you’re missing out! Also, hands down the BEST bubble tea I’ve ever had

Incredibly delicious food and friendly staff. We got offered the vegan only menu right away and had a surprisingly large selection of food. It was so good, we went there again the next day.

They recently changed the menu and unfortunately my usual option is no longer available (although they kindly still prepare it for me, for now). The prices have also increased. I understand that adjustments are sometimes necessary, but the jump felt quite significant; a more gradual annual increase would have been easier to accept.
